Beautifully figured maple is mesmerizing. The maple used here is absolutely gorgeous that will draw the eye indefinitely. I paired the maple with purple heart that makes for an extreme contrast that's very tasteful. Check out the birdseye inlay on the lid. The box is finished in gloss lacquer and wet sanded. The drawers are flocked with plum fibers and are securely in place. Perfect for a desk or end table this piece of functional art will last lifetime's if cared for properly. The box measures 10 inches tall x 10 inches wide x 6 and a half inches deep and weighs 7 pounds.
