A beautiful box made from claro walnut and purple heart. The box is very large for a bandsaw box and is far more elegant than most. There claro used has a touch of sapwood included for contrast and shows off an extra element of the woods immense beauty. There is plenty of room for jewelry or trinkets and the box would make a great addition to a desk or end table. The purple heart stripe through the center of the box makes a wonderful compliment to the claro walnut. The box is finished in gloss lacquer and is wet sanded to perfection. The box is extremely well made and no detail has been overlooked. The drawers are flocked in wine colored fibers and are securely in place. The box measures 11 and a half inches tall x 9 inches wide x 6 inches deep and weighs 7 pounds.
