I made this one by book matching some claro walnut. The claro walnut has a little bit of sapwood getting faintly lighter fading to the edges. If you look closely you can see the book match which is two pieces glued together that were sawn one after the other. Look at the center and work your way out and you'll see its almost a mirror image. The drawer pulls add a touch of elegance and the box is well made guaranteed to last a lifetime. I finished the box in a combination of gloss and satin spray lacquer and wet sanded to perfection. The finishes on my boxes are top notch with several coats and a lot of attention to detail. The drawers are flocked with brown fibers and are securely in place. Perfect for jewelry or trinkets this box would make a great gift or an excellent addition to a desk or end table. The box measures 7 and a half inches tall x 6 and a half inches wide x 5 inches deep.
