A really cool box with a little history. The claro walnut is book matched on the front showcasing some craftsmanship. The claro used is very beautiful and full of character. I used some 300 year old heart pine and it meshes wonderfully with the claro and i will be doing more projects with this combo in the future.The ebony drawer pulls add a nice touch. I finished the box in satin and its smooth to the touch after a good wet sanding and polishing. The box measures 8 and a half inches tall x 10 inches wide x 5 inches deep. The drawers are flocked with dark pink fibers and are securely in place. This is a wonderful piece of functional art that was made to last generations.
