A cool board with matching flatstones and capstones of padauk and red flame box elder. The red flame is an amazing species with surreal character. The padauk is a perfect compliment to the elder. The character is very strong with this board. The game pieces come in a muslin bag. The board measures 8 and a half inches square. I finished the board and game pieces in gloss lacquer and wet sanded to perfection. Tak is a registered trademark of cheapass games and all licensing fees have been paid.

The board is beautiful and great for games sized 3x3-6x6. It's smaller in dimension compared to Arcanist board, but can still be played with Crazy Martin's set, though using Tavern Set would be more comfortable. The pieces that came with the board are similar to Tavern Set, and looks great. There are enough pieces to host a 6x6 game. The capstone are beautiful and polished, though a bit bigger than the pieces, which makes it a bit harder when moving stacks. Overall this is a great board, and would recommend to anyone looking for an upgrade from Arcanist board.
