A beautiful box that will look good anywhere. I made this box using some highly figured claro walnut and included the sapwood for originality and contrast. The box has ample room for storing jewelry or trinkets and will look great on a desk or end table. The douglas fir makes a great partner for the claro and has some character cracking that adds to the overall look of the box. The box measures 11 and 3 quarter inches wide x 6 and 3 quarter inches tall x 6 inches. I finished the box in semi gloss lacquer and wet sanded to perfection.
