An incredible chessboard made from the best ingredients and with impeccable craftsmanship. I finally got around to a cocobolo board and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. This board is an absolute work of art and will last generations. I used cherry for the inlays between the squares for its subtlety making just enough contrast but not overpowering. The cocobolo used is the darker Mexican strain and it contrasts great with the birdseye maple. A true heirloom board it will be fought over by your great grandchildren one day. The board is 21 inches square and is 2 inches tall. I finished the board in semi gloss lacquer and wet sanded to perfection. Game pieces are not included.
