Colorful cutting board made with purple heart, walnut,oak,ebony,cherry,padauk,bubinga,and maple. Basically every hardwood I've used in the past year made it into this cutting board. After I complete a project ill have some left over pieces and ill store them away for some cutting boards. after years doing this kind of work I've made cutting boards for all my friends and family out of left over scrap. This board has a great look with a mish mash pattern. Using the end grains for the cutting surface will insure many years of use with minimal scraping and marring from knives. I've also heard that the end grain surface is also better for knives. Ive coated the board in food grade mineral oil and its ready for use. The board measures 12 and a half inches x 9 and a quarter x an inch thick.

My boyfriend loved this board! I got it for Christmas for him along with a Shun knife, it went over really well! It's beautiful!
