A gorgeous handmade keepsake box made from the finest materials. The buckeye burl on the lid is encased by a border of purple heart and maple. I used purple heart trim on the box to add contrast and the trim also acts as a handle to lift the lid. I finished the piece in gloss lacquer and wet sanded to obtain a smooth surface. The box measures 15 x 9 inches x 4 and a half inches tall. The inside measurements are 12 and a half x 6 x 2 and a quarter inches deep. Perfect for keepsakes or jewelry this box would look great anywhere a work of art would.
