Tak magnetic!!!! I had a customer ask me to make him one and I had to make a couple more. The design is cool and the craftsmanship is exceptional.I used some really nice maple with a ton of figure to make the set and kept it relatively simple by adding only walnut and the results are amazing. The box is held together with magnets and the game pieces store inside in a felted chamber and kept in place with a black walnut rack. When you want to play a game just open the box and the magnets join the board together and when you're done playing fold the box in half and the magnets keep the box closed.The unit is top coated with 4 coats of gloss polyurethane and wet sanded for a durable and lustrous finish. When closed the box measures 6 x 12 inches x 3 inches tall and when opened the board measures 12 inches square x 1 and a half inches.This magnetic box set comes with 60 game pieces and 2 capstones. This tak magnetic box set is made with the permission of cheap ass games and all licensing fees have been paid.
