A neat concept with quality ingredients. I used Bolivian rosewood for the playing surface and ebony for the lines but the blue acrylic really pops on this unit. The game pieces are stored inside in a felted chamber and separated using a rack. The measurements are 12 x 12 inches when opened and 6 x 12 inches when closed. The thickness is 3 inches when closed and an inch and a half when opened. This set comes with 60 game pieces and 2 capstones. I used a wax rub to finish the rosewood. Tak is a registered trademark and all licensing fees have been paid to cheapass games.
