this shelf is truly a work of art.i used maple and inlayed walnut on around the rim creating a stunning contrast between the two species of woods.i also outlayed the walnut on the maple brackets for a unique shadowing effect.i finished the piece with semi gloss giving the project a rich glow to bring out the warm tones of the maple and walnut.absolutely gorgeous! this piece measures 34 and a half inches wide by 6 and a half inches high by 5 and a half inches deep
