What a beauty! The mahogany used throughout the board from the dark squares to the multiple borders is just gorgeous with its tiger striped figure. It shimmers from the light and makes for an intense visual. Paired with maple and cherry inlays between the squares the board is an excellent display of craftsmanship. The squares are 2 and a quarter inches with a top tier playing surface of 18 and a half inches. The boards total dimensions are 22 and a quarter inches square and weighs 10 pounds. Finished in satin spray lacquer the board will last lifetime's with proper care and maintenance. Game pieces are not included.
